D-Link was recently
awarded the prestigeous ICSA Labs IPSec 1.2 Enhanced
Certification for the D-Link NetDefend Firewall Family. ICSA
Labs, an independent division of Cybertrust Inc., is a trusted
international authority in the information security industry.
They certify security products to help customers in finding and
choosing reliable solutions. By passing stringent testing
criteria in ICSA Labs, NetDefend Firewalls have proved D-Link's
commitment to security beyond doubt.
Building comprehensive solutions
D-Link provides a full range of total networking solutions. One
of D-Link's goals is to integrate these products rather than
just putting them together, especially for network security. For
example, D-Link has successfully integrated the high-end xStack
switches with ZoneDefense technology enabled NetDefend
firewalls.
The NetDefend Firewalls combine dedicated firewall core
architecture with a high density multi-network interface
platform, and integrates virtual private network(VPN), intrusion
detection and prevention (IDP/IPS), Anti-Spam Filtering,
detailed bandwidth management, multi-line failover to WAN, OSPF,
policy-based routing, server load balancing, web-based user
authentication and D-Link's ZoneDefense end-point security
technology. D-Link's high-quality products help customers face
the modern day challenges of networking and security.
ICSA Labs IPSec Version 1.2 Enhanced Certification
D-Link's NetDefend Firewall family passed the latest and
strictest IPSec certification in ICSA Labs version 1.2 Enhanced.
A series of rigorous tests were carried out, including Internet
Key Exchange (IKE), Encapsulation Security, robust cryptography
algorithm, authentication using certificates, system logging and
more. Not only did the NetDefend Firewall pass these tests, but
it also earned praise from ICSA Labs’ Network Security Labs for
unique features in the web administration interface that allow
administrators to safely make changes to the firewall’s
configuration remotely.
D-Link's NetDefend Firewalls can be used for small-to-medium
businesses (SMB), corporate businesses, and in campus network
environments. They offer unparalleled price/performance in an
easy-to-deploy security solution, allowing employee workstations
and critical servers to work and provide regular services in a
secure and reliable environment.
